Brunswick East Courtyard

A straightforward lightwell courtyard, open to its surroundings, created a distinctive shared garden space between three internal rooms. This called for a minimalist material palette, complemented by Japanese-inspired planting, to soften the boundaries and provide seamless access. Often drawn to the idea of a fernery, we take great pleasure in drawing inspiration from native Australian rainforests and incorporating these elements into the urban landscape whenever we can.
